Hades is a roguelike action role-playing video game developed and published by Supergiant Games. It was released for Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Nintendo Switch on September 17, 2020, which followed an early access release from December 2018.

Players control Zagreus, the son of Hades, as he attempts to escape from Underworld to reach Mount Olympus, at times aided by gifts bestowed on him from the other Olympians. Each run challenges the player through a random series of rooms populated with enemies and rewards. The game has a hack and slash combat system; the player uses a combination of their main weapon attack, dash power, and magic ability to defeat them while avoiding damage to progress as far as possible. While Zagreus will often die, the player can use gained treasure to improve certain attributes or unlock new weapons and abilities to improve chances of escaping on subsequent runs.

  1. Minor note that I haven't seen brought up.

In the 'survive for x seconds' rooms, if you aren't having any trouble killing enemies fast, get super aggressive! The enemies drop money!
At about 23:00, you jumped from 51 gold to 113, since you were killing so many of the enemies quickly.

The 'get super aggressive sometimes' tip is another thing I'd probably say will help you overall. Being cautious overall is good, but has kept prolonging fights, leading to more hits being taken. Mostly applicable to bosses, their patterns that involve 'mess the room up with stuff' typically also leave them wide open to attack (Fury Sisters especially).

Though tentative note about zone 4 boss (no spoilers): Do kill the mobs when they appear, that's what always killed me until I realized I shouldn't ignore them in favor of a damage race.
