  1. For me the best parts of Hades were actually the dialogue and character interactions you got along the way. Those were what really hooked me into the loop of the game.

It doesn't look like this game will match the personality behind Hades that made it so appealing, but the gameplay does look fun.

  2. But what about the story? Sure the gameplay looks fun and enjoyable, but I would have liked to hear something about the actual story as well.

The biggest thing Hades brought to the table was its stor. It is what made you want to go back in time, after time, after time again. While the art style does look aesthetic to look at it just leave my brain to wonder what this game is all about. I do like to hear reviews on games before I buy them because I like to sort of know what I'm getting myself into. I don't like throwing money to the wind on the chance of a possibly good game.

Tackle the gameplay and the story next time and you might have convinced me to spend some of that stuff we call money!

  3. A video title like THIS coming from YOU grabs my attention, so well done Alex. 😉

This looks great, I'll check it out. While it doesn't have Hades narrative design, the gameplay looks great (and I honestly didn't expect it to have a narrative like Hades – that takes an amount of effort which we probably will only see from bigger indie developers or AAAs).
