The Dionysus cast is one of the worst to use with the Hera bow. Most of the other casts you can pick up your bloodstones almost immediately and reload them because they kill most enemies in one shot so they don't get stuck. But with festive fog you have to wait for the fog to disappear before you can pick up the bloodstones and use them again.

Hera bow cast imo op Poseidon bloody insane burst
This bow aspect with festive fog was my first ever win. Also for resisting trap damage: lava counts as a trap, as do the stinky Hades jars.
perhaps consider the other super giant games? they haven't produced any game that wasn't an 11/10!

Don't recall if you've given it a look, but maybe try out SYNTHETIK some time, it's a 2d isometric rougelite with extremely tight gunplay, there's a sequel in the early access process so maybe give that one a shot instead once it's nearing or at completion. Don't expect it to be the next game as it's slightly more similar to HADES than HADES is to Noita, so something different as a breather could be good. Loved this series to bits, i never bothered to finish hades, having played most of my fill in early access so seeing the story in it's entirety was really nice.

Congrats on finishing! There's so much fun post-game content, you should def check it out on the channel. There's also a great 6-episode No Clip documentary series on the making of Hades. Super interesting BTS stuff about their Early Access period and their launch.
Hera’s or Artemis’ cast are also good for the bow, arguable the best, since the duo you can get will make them even stronger, and they can kill most mobs in one shot, giving the bloodstones back very quickly. Other good boons are chaos’ boon that gives extra bloodstone and the boon from Hermes that returns bloodstones faster.
Also as a few others have noted, there's still quite a bit of content and story after this, though you don't have to keep playing if you don't want to grind for it.
That 90% reduction from trap damage might be the best boon you've picked up yet.
