Overwatch League switched from twitch to Youtube for Season 3. Problems with YT were bit rate, visibility (as you mentioned), vod-clipping and in-game rewards (which is at works to fix it right now). But for me personally, who enjoy just casting on my tv, I personally prefer YT as twitch app is god awful on tv.
Idea for Patreon… Maybe once a month, sit down in a hangout with one patreon, do a playthrough and give them some tips. Maybe for speedrunning, maybe for beginner tips, whatever. It gives a purpose to Patreon and it is a new source of content which you could stream on twitch and put on youtube, as long as they are ok with it of course.
Doesn't it make sense to get Aphrodite on your attack with Nemesis? You have a big crit chance as is, so you want to have the most possible damage, right? Around 15:20 you could've switchted to that.
I agree, it would be cool if there were a dedicated stream page to find new people, but it is pretty easy to find people you're already subscribed to since it shows up in your subscription feed right up at the top.
In the Trial of the God's rooms are the boons affected by which God you choose first? Is there a benefit in taking one first outside of not facing their attacks in the fight?

I never go to twitch. If you streamed on YT I would watch you sometimes, but if you kept on Twitch I will never watch you unfortunately.
I've always hated witch its so viewer unfriendly and breaks all the time, and then on top of that its streamer unfriendly with all you said.
I can't say if I'll be able to donate or anything but if you had streamed on YouTube I would watch you daily and regularly I don't visit twitch much

One thing worth pointing out is that (as far as I'm aware) Amazon actually loses money on twitch despite how much it generates, it's an incredibly expensive website to maintain. Not sure to which degree this is the case with other streaming sites, I wouldn't be surprised if that's the norm.
I'm guessing their long-term plan is either a) just to use twitch as a means of attracting Amazon prime customers (both for twitch prime benefits and for all the other cross-advertised services, so many twitch ads are for prime video shows and streamers often have links to their setups on Amazon, getting a cut of purchases made through the link) or b) to actually try to make a profit eventually by acquiring a big enough market share to kill competition and then up their prices.
Seeing as their market share is going down and other services are also owned by massive companies willing to lose money on streaming, this option doesn't really seem viable. Either way, it's definitely a super interesting and unique market to look at, and I'm sure it'll look wildly different in just a year or two.

its sad, that only fans has this negative reputation. it was originally built for artists to have a platform to showcase their skills and there are still lots of musicians and painters, etc. that use the platform like that. OF unfortunately quickly realized how big the market for famous people and their sketchy pics and vids is. they rode that wave and made a bunch of money. but i would totally support someone on OF, who has legit content to show
