Hazrat Abdullah bin Samit (RA) narrates from Abu Dharr Ghafari (RA) that he (Abu Dharr) said to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), O Messenger of Allah! There is a man who loves special servants of Allah, but he is unable to act on them. You will be with whomever you love. Abu Dharr submitted. Hazrat! I love Allah and His Messenger. He said: So you will stay with those whom you love. After hearing this answer, Abu Dharr repeated his words and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, again said the same thing that he had said the first time. (Sunan Abi Dawud)
Maarif Hadith 284

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: A believer is the center of affection and love, and there is no good in a person who does not treat others with affection, and others do not treat him with affection. (Musnad Ahmad, Shab Al-Iman for Bayhaqi)

Interpretation
This means that a believer should be the center of his love so that he himself loves others, and others love him and be familiar with him. Someone will be able to benefit others and other people will be able to benefit from it. In this hadith, there is a special lesson for those dry-tempered people who consider it a requirement of religion to be detached from the most, and therefore they neither familiarize themselves with others nor let others familiarize themselves with them. However, this love and affection of a believer and familiarity with others and making them familiar with oneself should all be for the sake of Allah and under His commandments. And I live and die for God, Lord of the worlds.
