  1. When I was 7 my mom was driving us home on the highway, In the lane beside us a motorcycle slammed into a sedan. The man flew over the car and into another one. While my mom is trying to keep me from looking while she slowly drives past this as it happens. The man's neck completely snapped, and I saw the whole thing happen. It was horrible

  2. My stepdad, for 20 years he was police officer until he could retire early in his early 50s few months ago. 2 years ago, he was on callout that girl was threatening to jump out of window. He went, talked with her, but girl decided to jump before my stepdad could stop her. He is still talking with horror about that he couldnt stop her or that he saw her splatter on concrete. He went through massive therapy sessions for his mental health. He still say that he is horrified about that day. He constantly mentions that day especially when he drinks some beers. I kind of dont blame him for drinking alot.

  3. First one: pretty sure kids do better in cold water drownings due to persistence of a ‘dive reflex’. I’ve helped resuscitate kids from cold water drowning, and have seen it go on for extended periods of time, as they have to be warmed before some drugs/defibrillator to work. When I had small children, I’d be a mess for days, especially when we we’re unsuccessful.

  4. I served four years in the Marines, I chose to go the infantry route for the experience. When I was in Iraq from 07-08 we got in a firefight, I saw one suicide bomber blow up and kill one of my friends, take off my platoon commanders leg and mangle my squad leader pretty good. A second bomber came out and I fired at him from my turret, he kept running towards us but eventually went down and still blew up. It’s insane to see body parts just go flying everywhere.

  5. When I was right around 20 years old, there was a roofer working on a single story store, CVS. I hear a couple screams and turned the corner to see JUST AN ARM! He ended up falling and his arm got caught and ripped off! It was terrible
