"Hollow (Come Back)" feat. Jay Hosking – Dreadbox Nymphes & Hades

So, this is a little different from my usual uploads. This started as a remix of Jay Hosking’s track “Come Back” as part of his Patreon Discord community collaboration album for the summer season. And it’s the first time I’ve used my own vocals for a track that I have uploaded to youtube.

I kept feeling like the original ideas would make a great track with full verse/chorus lyrics and vocals. They had an infectious vibe that I couldn’t help but groove and sing along to. I started playing around with ideas and came up with this, something very different from the original, but still familiar.

I used the original drum stems from the collaboration materials and Jay’s vocals. The lead and bass synth parts were sequenced via the Squarp Hapax based on the original stems, but they are not identical.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this! It was a blast to create.
