  1. Hehe, I love the title of that Rust post about Unity. The new contra game reminds me of some of the old PSN games I used to get on the PS3: Just upgraded enough from the 8 bit version that I'd buy it for 9 bucks as long as I could play it online with a friend, but not enhanced enough that I'd pay 15 bucks for it. There were a bunch of games that felt like this back then. Of course now they'll probably as 30 for it which I'm probably not going to pay. A shame, Contra was a huge part of my youth.

  2. 1:06 Screw you, Embracer Group and shame on you. First, you killed both my faves Volition and Saints Row, second you also have almost killed my fellow fave Rainbow Studios, third you sold off Gearbox and now announcing the Tomb Raider Trilogy remasters? Well guess what, f*** you then and what a greedy and manipulative gaming company and also have drew the ire of many gamers…

  3. Are you going to talk about the reveal of other Nintendo games that were revealed from the Direct in a future video? I really want to hear your thoughts on the recently announced Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door remake.

  4. As a huge Contra fan, that Contra really does look like a mobile game. The graphics are super plain and with fewer details/personality. Opposite of what we would expect from a classic-style contra. The unique art style has been such a distinct part of the contra franchise. Weird coming from Wayforward, who have previously developed a really good Contra game.

Hope the gameplay makes up for it. I'm not expecting it to one-up Hard Corps: Uprising, the last good Contra game.
