  1. 11:07 what is the point of going out of your way and paying to fill the god pool? Wouldn't a fourth god just organically come up as a room reward and you can take it at that point?

Like in first room of Elysium, you just pick "not a desirable god". Hoping I make sense

  2. Tried this run tonight. Didn't end up using Hades keepsake, but had a lucky run. Got Mirage Shot by end of Tart, Rush Delivery by end of Asphodel. Got +1 cast and +attack from Chaos (was able to use multiple rerolls on Chaos cast), Epic Ravenous Will, Zeus call and Jolted. I didn't get Sea storm or a way to proc P Status, but got an overall personal record of 9:35 with mid execution. My previous PR was Eris at 9:39 and then 10:02 with Beowulf. Btw Beowulf is the only aspect with which I've cleared 40 heat. Thanks for the content. Edit: I should've used Family Favorite for this Poseidon-Artemis build, though if I would'e gotten Aphrodite cast like Dan did, or if I would gotten Rupture, Privileged Status would've been better.

  3. the Elysium witch room might be the funniest thing I've seen in a Hades run so far, I've had that happen to me once but I think I was on the bow so it didn't matter as much haha
nice stuff, I've done some runs with Beowulf and I knew of its potential but I've never realize it could be this good, I might practice it properly now.
    Nice stuff bro!

  4. new vid idea: maybe do a room tier list on what room to choose, for example s tier room could be mid shop, story room etc, f tier room could be darkness, basically outlining the room preference if player want to hit lvl3 deadline, which is a pact of punishment that is forced to take in higher heat, or just to be quick in general

  5. I suck with Beowulf haha. I have a 7min52sec record with the Eris Rail and low times with the other weapons, but gracious, my Beowulf is so slow. Feels so clunky, doesn't run smoothly…

Does anyone else have this sort of experience? I see others getting crazy fast times with it and wonder what I'm doing wrong haha.

  6. It feels like it's gonna take some time to get used to the button remapping after hundreds of attempts already but I still haven't gotten a sub 10 time and this is quite convincing. I have never first boss in close to 2 minutes and never ever have I been remotely close to beating her in 10 seconds. Yelp

  7. By far my favorite aspect. Took me ages to learn (for speedruns) not to instantly load all three casts ESPECIALLY with trippy shot just to smoke one witch into oblivion, and then wait like an idiot for 5 seconds and lose time.

  8. Hey Dan! Have been watching your vids for a long time and got my first 32 heat clear with beo.

With hera bow you always talk about the importance of snow burst – wouldn‘t you want it for beo too? Cheers!

  9. For whatever reason I still can't use Beowulf despite weeks of practice. I'm CONSTANTLY taking hits with it. I think it's the slowness of the weapon that's doing tremendous damage to my play. I can't get used to the slow swing of the lack of offense when the shield is flying around.

  10. I'm gonna try this build for sure. Crazy damage. Also I get the hesitation on rebinding keys. I like it for certain aspects and builds though like aspect of hestia I rebound reload to my side mouse button. Can be useful but is weird.
