one detail that i love is that Hades fights like you. He has all the same tools that Zag does just cranked up to 11.
In the boss arena where you fight Theseus, the shades in the crowd have banners of his face. However a single red shade has a small banner with your face on it, they're rooting for you.

Hi alicia, long time no comment! As a roguelike absolute MEGALOSER. It took me 356 tries to beat this game the first time, ive NEVER played a game like this, but i am never a quitter, and have a strong positive mental, i LOVE this game and the dialogue. Youre doing in the words of charlie UHMAYZING.

One of the details that you get whit a lot more gameplay is how to use the deflect agresibly, it does require concentration, but is satisfactory.
Dionisius cast is very powerfull, i recomend it fully if it doesnt mess a combo.
Watching other people play games always reminds me that I am not good at them 😂 I beat my first Hades around the 50 mark, then I see others making it in like 8-15 tries and I’m just like “🙃 oh ok…” lmao

Alicia, you can actually fight Charon too if you steal his money in the cage, it's rare tho, do note he's extremely tough.
What a nice runs even tho it's few hrs.
btw the shield blocks any damage (that comes from the direction of the block of course), you dont have to be in the middle of a bullrush you can just hold the charge up indefinitely and negate all damage from the direction you're facing, its great

Ah, but the beauty of Hades' bossfight, Alicia, is that you CAN know most of his moveset before ever seeing him fight. Beside his projectiles working similar to Zagreus' Cast, his melee attacks are variants of Zag's spear moves. (I would do a detailed breakdown, but some of the things are kinda spoilery so better not)
I really would love you to please check out The Binding of Isaac at some point

It's kind of amazing Alicia hasn't been picking up Divine Dash from Athena often or that much when it's like one of the most busted boons to have, and she has gotten this far.
I really hope she keeps giving nectar to Orpheus, he's just a good bean with a lot of depression

The fight against Alecto around the 50 minute mark: i think the traps in the room did more damage to Alicia than Alecto herself.

And i do the same damn thing of dashing into traps and lava and stuff every single damn run.
Alicia, im sorry but i have to say something. Divine Dash from Athena is one of the best boons hands down. it makes you immune to damage in your dash. Please stop ignoring it. Alright rant over. Sorry ive got like 300+ hours in Hades so it needed to be said. Love the content!
