This SuperGiant roguelite / roguelike is easily a top 10 and is worth a try for everyone. In this build I use Malphon Fist with Aspect of Demeter and destroy every boss with Explosive Upper!

Did you try Curse of the dead gods, its a rogue like kinda similar to Hades in terms of combat but more slow paced and less button mashy. Its still in early access but they just released the third doungeon. Anyways thought you might like it and give it a try

I play Hades a bit different than you. I always pick the Persiphone keepsake and let the game decide which weapon I should play with. I always pick the one which gives you bonus dark and gems. I currently have a win streak of 36 and slowly but surely the heat is rising. I have reached heat 13 and now start to feel the difficulty becoming much harder. The bow and spear are my favorite weapons.
If you're using boons like zeus, ares or dionysus then damage bonuses for things like special or attack damage up don't actually help much since your damage is coming from a separate instance
Remember when Vee was surprised I did 16 heat fists with 2 dmg control? Here he is now doing higher heat I feel like a proud twitch sub
