I did like the designs of Hades. I knew they weren't accurate but it look good. It paints it now in a more negative light for me now, but thank you for informing me.

I dont know – the Hades 2 characters just seem a bit off to me. But more importantly the gameplay seems very much the same as the original, just with a few new effects.
Feels more like a DLC to me than a new game. Gonna skip that one and instead grind out a few more heat levels from the original. Bit disappointed in SuperGiant.

As for the discord hack, Discord has been woke for some time now. Its possible that no one actually hacked the server, but rather a woke admin got upset. Backdoors and root permissions exist all over the IT space. It wouldn't take much for a Discord admin to make the type of changes described. Its also possible that a friend of a friend allowed this to happen.
Account and password sharing is very common, unfortunately. This just looks like an inside job on the surface.
I'm not saying they for sure weren't hacked, just that its more likely that a diverse player with power, who works for discord, deleted the content and banned the members.
There's better free speech platforms out there anyway.

I had to pause. These journos really operate on constant cognitive dissonance. Look, more power to SuperGiant for making great games, but this is one of those deal breakers, and I don't feel like supporting a studio that will insert diversity like this. We know how greet gods are supposed to look, they would look like the Greeks, because they're greek gods! Every culture depicts their deities in their semblance, so why did they feel so comfortable changing them here? Of course, because the the Greeks are white!
I haven't seen any comments from the devs on it but they deemed it acceptable. It feels bad to not support a small studio like them, especially because I know they work well, but Hades 2 tells me is that they will include more of this in future titles. So I guess I'm out. To anyone who's playing the game, have a boatload of fun!
