  1. I love Hephaestus' blast boons. They go off consistently, the trigger time can be improved by poms/rarity, other boons of his can add further damage, and they can make a huge difference in boss fights. I just love hearing that 'clang' sound go off now.

  2. Loving these videos and dreading the day early access content will come to a stop. A few notes on the run:
Similar to attack or special boons, you can only have one magick regen boon, called "[something] gain". When you were talking about getting a regen boon, you already had Hephaestus's Fixed Gain which gave you damage reduction and magick regen on hit. You were selling that boon short, given how common chip damage is in this game as well as how plentiful health regen is. Instant magick on hit is very useful.
Another tidbit: You can use the Ω attack to blink to enemies and tap your cast there, no need for enemies to walk in it and you get a ton of burst damage in plus perfect cast setup (you were talking about this at the start, before Hestia solved that issue a different way). Additionally, using your Ω special from melee range would multiply its damage significantly as more than one dagger can hit the same enemy.
Daedalus hammers will never change your cast, as the cast is not part of your weapon's skill set.
A fun cast build to try once: Apollo's cast plus his and Zeus's boons. Keeping it spoiler-free as the boons are intuitive.

  3. Hephaestus is usually depicted as physically disabled in some form or another, either being malformed or just unattractive, that obviously wasn't going to be in this universe so they've gone with him being wheelchair bound with a artificial leg.
Its actually pretty interesting how many classical pantheon's had differently abled deities. Tyr was minus an arm, Odin was without an Eye, Bes over in Egypt was a little person, the list goes on.

  4. I am loving how Scylla sings the song that she mentions she recently made during the boss battle instead of the one we hear in previous runs thus far. It really progresses this subplot of her forming a real vendetta against Melinoe.

  5. I think even without Eris' blessing you wouldn't have made it past phase II here. I think getting all the optional rooms was not a bad call at all
You are progressing very fast! This was probably your most powerful run to date

  6. It's a bit confusing, but if I understand correctly there are 3 main types of Cast boon: Passive (damage/status effect regardless of charge), Omega (effect ONLY when charged), and Aimed . You can only have one of each type. Not every god has each type (I think there's literally only 2 aimed ones – hope they add more, I like them) and there are a couple cast related boons that are outside of this set, letting them coexist with any.

Despite the wording, yes you can aim ranged casts without holding (that one time in Erebus it hit a wall) and charging it fully provides no benefit outside of that of your Omega cast boon if you have one.
