This is a very interesting interpretation of Nemesis (and by extencion vengence). It is not about setting things right, it is about making the other person suffer like you did. Therefore it is,by its nature, a lose lose game (I lost, so I will make you lose too)
I hadn’t gotten this gem of conversation yet, but it’s exceptionally on brand for how the mythos works. The delivery is on point as well, considering Nemesis doesn’t really care too much aside from a balanced karmic scorecard. The injured parties, did learn however and it shows even as the game plays out. I love those little nuggets in games.
