furious whirl wind is best hammer to take for thanatos imo. you can argue advancing whirl-wind if you value safety on bosses at a range but the faster charge time is so needed.

How does Echo restore so many DDs? Seems like waaaaay too powerful a buff to just have in the game.

I had only used staff and Pan daggers for clears before, but last week, I got my first axe clear with Charon axe. I wish it was an oar lol
3:54 The fact that breath of eros not only blocked the hit but it healed him too while having the vow on and nobody noticed is hilarious to me but it seems like a glitch to be onest….
Welp, since all the armour was lost in a single hit anyway that means Marial Art would have been totes better. In games with such fights where u get hit for half your health I always find it better to go for damage, since you're banking on NOT getting hit and with more damage you have to not get hit less times since you finish the fight faster. I even beat R Legacy the first time with that dagger item.

The axe is the only aspect that I've not beaten at 40% speed because I keep leaving myself open to attack. Sometimes I got good with timing the block, but I can't keep up. Your movement was so good it made it look like that vow wasn't even active! Nice! GL

I went into this game expected the double knives to be my favorite weapon since I play pretty conservatively (ie a wimp who’s scared of getting smacked) and my favorite in Hades 1 was the honing Bow.
To my surprise, the Thanatos Axe has been my favorite so far! I usually end up spamming the Atk and then doing Omega Special for enemies that are far away, so it ends up working really well.
