You mean kidnap love
A reminder that Hades ask perdition to kidnap Persephone. Admittedly he asked womanizing, misogynistic Zeus, but he did ask
I feel like most people know about Hades. But someone who’s been even more misrepresented from Greek mythology nowadays is definitely Aries. Don’t get me wrong. He’s the god of chaos and war, but he has a lot of good qualities. It’s just that nowadays we see what he represents as bad and evil when it’s not. He was probably one of the nicest and most caring gods for specifically humans. That’s mainly because he doesn’t represent war for politicians and kings. He represents the people fighting in the war. He represents what they’re fighting for. What they’re trying to protect. When people rise up against their oppressors and start a revolution Aries is on their side. When women are fleeing from a destroyed location or running from someone evil and wicked they flee to Aries temple because he has the title defender of women. If he didn’t sleep with Aphrodite, he probably would be the most respectable God. And if Artemis, the more evil version of him that’s supposed to represent the ruling class wasn’t such a popular goddess. He probably would be the heroes of a lot of stories.
