ive never caught a video so early
first
Remember when Haelian called hexes bad? Yep words successfully eaten
Heph would have been good for both for immunity for the first few seconds of an encounter and the “additional health for max magic” boons
Omega Cast build:
– Zeus/Apollo duo + prerequisites
– Geyser Spout
– Zeus infusion
– Gale force
– Tropical cyclone
– Apollo cast is probably best for origination
Additional:
– Seismic Hammer
– Local Climate
– Lightning Lance/Glowing Coal
– Easy Shot (Looks cool)
Ahem, indeed.
you can get path of star in city but they put restriction that you can only get 1 path of stars in first area.
If Prometheus had truly the gift of foresight, he shouldn't have even appeared on the arena, or he might have said " eh the eagle was worse "
I used chat GPT, but your total available mana is 20,873 (around 37x your total of 573).
Hex😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Now I wanna see a Blood Line build abusing Queen's Ransom
i once did blood line + possessed array. so much d
I disagree about the omega special for the coat – it's my favourite build:
– aspect of Selene (the path of stars where enemies are struck by the hex when you use omega + attack boon benefits)
– hestia on special
– Demeter on attack
– their duo
Maybe throw glamour gain, and duo aphro with poseidon and hestia, so you can stack more scorch
Regarding the "Don't Get Hit" challenges, I think it's a great idea to bring them back, but there are a lot of important differences that make them HADER in Hades 2. For instance…
-Hades 1 Erebus encounters were always in symmetrical rooms with lots of cover. Hades 2 rooms are asymmetrical with less cover.
-Hades 1 was more hack & slash, Hades 2 has more projectile enemies
-Hades 1 Erebus rooms were relatively small. Hades 2 rooms are large enough that enemies can fire at you from offscreen
-Hades 1 Erebus encounters would have maybe 4 or 5 enemies out at once, and would trickle in more units as you took them down. Hades 2 "don't get hit" challenges dump all the enemies at once.
Overall, I like the Hades 1 version better, IMO
Charybdis is Lerny with no rizz
This build seems waaay OP. Is it viable in higher fears?
I barely managed to beat Prometheus for the first time yesterday, meanwhile Haelian is so good at the game he just straight up decided that he no longer takes damage.
PLEASE READ ME! There's a bug with Athena's boon Stalwart Stand and Demeters rare crop! Each time it levels up you get another DD! Up to 4 EVERY BIOME!!!! IT RESETS EACH TIME!!!
I like putting hitch on the coat’s rockets. Good way of spreading out a lot of damage.
Intent: Hex build
Result: Blood Line build
Approximately 39k magik to use until empty conpletely with the born gain calculated
He should have seen how long it takes to actually run out of magic at the end. By my calculation he had 19,404 total magic to burn through (sum of (2+8*k) for k from 4 to 69). Note, born gain would fail to activate the last few times because if k=3 he doesn't have enough magic to launch another omega attack.
I have definitely seen path of stars in ephyra
at the prometheus fight he effectively has 37,675 magik
i absolutely love heras boons. her born gain boon has to be one of the best abilities in the entire game
The intro made me chuckle
Should do a run where you build up as much damage resistance as possible. With that amount of magic, + brave face, you could tank every hit of prometheus says and possibly even the chronos insta-kill (I got it down to 405 damage, so it may be possible with enough damage resistance).
Weirdly enough black coat with heph on special has been the easiest for me on the surface. Drop a cast, omega special any enemy super fast, then dash away till they explode from heph blasts. If I use pan I need to put all the energy into making omega special faster. If I don’t, I just die because the surface is so much more agile.
Build Suggestion: Scorch Focus (No Attack, Cast-Only Gameplay) (Core Gods: Hestia, Aphrodite, Poseidon)
Key Boons:
– Smolder Ring & Pyro Technique (Maximize Scorch stacking and enhance damage output.)
– Glamour Gain (Provides a curse and sufficient Magick supply, especially effective with Thunder Sprint.)
– Burning Desire (Prevents Scorch stack decay, ensuring consistent DoT.)
– Island Getaway (Bypasses Glamour Gain's range limit and offers damage reduction, allowing for better positioning and survivability.)
4th God Options:
– Demeter: Arctic Gust, Frigid Sprint, Local Climate (for "Channel & Run" playstyle, enhance mobility and Origination-friendly)
– Zeus: Thunder Sprint, Spirit Surge, Double Strike, Air Quality (for "Bolt & Run" playstyle, improve DPS with Bolt damage and Air Quality)
This build revolves around stacking Scorch without worrying about stack decay, thanks to Burning Desire and Island Getaway. Smolder Ring is the primary source of damage, while the 4th God choice allows flexibility based on your preferences: amplify DPS with Zeus or prioritize evasion with Demeter.
A few month ago I made a Born Gain calculator on Desmos. Here's the stats:
27 Magick per Omega Attack
573 Max Magick
8 Magick primed by each Born Gain use
68 Times Born Gain can activate
802 Omega Attack uses
21,654 Magick used after priming out all Magick
Also Incandescent Aura probably would have gone platinum
If my math is right blood line priming 8 made your 549 max magic actually deliver more than 18k of total magic before running out. So yes, half of your max magic would have been fine!
Hexes have been buffed because they were never picked. Total eclipse and the one where you jump and land (don't remember the name) are absolutely busted once you get a few paths of stars.
However buffing the hexes was a bad idea IMO, because their power was never the problem. It's the whole mechanic that simply does not work well with the rest of the game. They practically do not interact with your other boons. The weapon you pick has virtually 0 impact if you decide to go for a hex run (which makes the whole fear reward system for the different weapons irrelevant. Simply go for a hex run if there is a weapon you don't like. Easy 32 fear). And the fact that you need to spend Magick means that the best way to play a hex run is to waste Magick not even caring if you hit enemies, just so you can spam the devastating hexes.
I love the game, but hexes are the one bad idea that the devs have been struggling with from day 1. Fixing them cannot be through buff/nerf. The whole mechanic needs to be reworked.
This is what i subbed for lol , silly builds like this .It's so funny watching some stupid hex build deal bonkers dmg
God I love this Hex. Sure, moon water is still good but this kind of nonsense is so much more fun.
