  1. I am confused. Artemis aspect is so good. After getting hit u can do 9 critical omega hits which deal a lot of damage paired with hammers. I remember getting like 2-3k damage per hit. I find it better than pan aspect. I also cleared 32feae with artemis

  2. Black Coat Special apologist right here, there is absolutely builds that make the rockets insanely good😭

roll with Zeus on specials and the Split Rocket Hammer, with Demeter casts plus their duo

i swear you will never have a better time watching blitz damage numbers go brr

  3. I at least managed to beat all the fear checks so I feel absolutely qualified to comment on this:
Staff: Pretty much agreed on overall power-rankings even though I subjectively like Circe the most (it's kinda like having infinite magick if you preserve exactly enough magic for an omega for whenever serenity is up, so you have to be less careful with omegas than with the other aspects in a way)
Blades: Sorry mate Artemis in C is just actual insanity. Enemies, especially in later biomes, attack enough to make getting them to hit you a non-issue, and then you have absolutely melting damage by omega attack spamming, and then you have the regular blades in the downtime which is still high-up in terms of base weapons. It's certainly not any more annoying than always having to be behind enemies to do good damage.
    Torches: Yeah this one's fine
Axe: Errm, Mel is actually 5.7% higher dps on the main combo than Than? Hello? The attack speed certainly has a higher comfort/convenience factor tho, even with the added health.
Skull: I do not fuck with persephone at all (sorry mom) and I like mel a lot for being the only aspect you actually can use the omega attack with effectively (and it's also , but medea is still objectively the strongest, so maybe i would just switch mel and persephone
Coat: Does feel overall a little weaker than the other weapons, but man, come on, don't do selene like that, the hex damage alone can almost clear rooms and with moon active + a few auto-charge upgrades you don't even need to wait for it long. The block also trivializes certain enemies/bosses, and the specials are moreso good for supplementing your damage by firing off from a safe distance and then diving in.

  4. So some thoughts:
    1. Artemis omega attack can parry even unblockable moves like chronos/prometheus moves or polyphemus shockwaves. It's still kinda clunky.

    2. Truth be told eos and mel torches feel exactly the same, it's just omega special spam at the end of the day and one (more than?) doubles the duration, and the other the amount of omega specials. I think triple comet is better on eos but romantic spark is quite a bit better on mel so that's the difference?

    3. Mel aspect axe that low really hurts because i feel it's one of the stronger aspects to just get a win with/do high fear. Increased speed matters for DPS, but increased power means way stronger first hit (on an enemy with origination+strength+furies+aphro attack (rare, unpommed), first strike does 153 with than and 259 with mel for example). In fact, one of my favourite examples to demonstrate it is to compare apollo attack on mel vs aphro attack on thanatos. Mel does 216 on first swing (more than than), and trades less speed for way more range. If you look at the aspects as
Than aspect has 30% increased speed on attack vs
Mel aspect has 30% increased range and a bit more damage on attack

Suddenly they look quite comparable, and you don't even have to do apollo as demeter/hera also do more damage oer swing on mel than Than with even epic or legendary aphro attack. Than still looks better, but mel is excellent if you want to be a bit more careful in your swings and aren't finishing combos or use something other than aphro attack. Than has the omega attack thing but you use omegas on than so rarely that it isn't a huge deciding factor, plus 35 health really translates to 70-77 more health depending on whether we use strength or eternity, and it also allows you to free up arcana by not taking titan. Kind of a plus imo?

    4. All skull omega specials grant you i-frames, persephone's just lasts (way) longer (and does more damage), just something worth mentioning to all the skull haters, it's a great weapon!

    5. Kinda feel selene got robbed here since it does depend on omegas but unlike nyx who has to use the attack or special, selene can use casts. And it with geyser spout is really fun, because shine does work but in a weird (? it is a debuff so should be end damage multiplier instead of additor but it works additively, even so it is more than any other omega move increasing percentage and can be boosted further, i cannot recall if hades spear worked like this) way but it still shits out pretty consistent damage, like 1000+ per geyser spout on shine'd enemies. It's quite particular and sort of the most complicated aspect as it basically requires you get selene keepsake zone 1 or 2 to get final upgrade in one fell swoop (8 upgrades are enough for a final upgrade in all branch patterns), but also be intimately familiar with all the pathway of star upgrades, but imo it's really worth it, and even objectively it does not belong in circe tier 😭

And finally 6. Circe is so bad

  5. My first successful run, and my first 32 run were both with aspects from the D tier. I think the hex is useless, unless you have the stacking boon, then it becomes ridiculous. You should try it out.

  6. Know there is a lot out there now, the devs crushed it with the new update for Rogue Prince of Persia. Tons of new areas, storyline and the weapons and medallions are really good now. You may want to check it out again.

  7. Aspect of Circe has some potential with the hammer that makes your Attack hit twice but cost mana per hit and then combine it with Hera's gain, so whenever you run out of mana you cast one Omega to refill it and make use of the extra damage.

  8. i thought moros sucked at first because if you use the abilities in the order they're written it feels really bad, the attacks bump into each other and stop dead in a line. didn't realize that if you just throw the omega special on first it feels like you're playing as hephaestus

  9. I am probably biased since Mel Torches are one of my fav aspects, but rating them lower than Artemis naaaahhh
Gonna have to test Artemis more ofthen but naaahh there is no way :d

  10. Medea is one of my favorite builds because it is strong, can be safe, and doesn't require a whole lot to set up for success. Aphro special, glamour gain, and blitz on the attack. I spam the omega special and am always taking advantage of the origination bonus. Omega special gives iframes.

  11. Selene is in my opinion really good if you ignore the aspect in itself. Put Blitz on the attack, so it affects the hex as well, and use mostly the omega cast. Even better if you get Geyser Spout. Awesome damage output and you virtually get the hex everytime with not a lot of upgrades.

  12. For me Artemis' Aspect is a S, I find it really easy to use, it uses almost no magick and it's SO powerful, specially against Chronos as you can block his 999 damage hit. It's prob. my second favourite aspect!

  13. Has haelian done a run with aspect of nyx and poseidon special spam? I swear when i tried it the splash damage was hitting for both the main attack and the nightspawns since the dps was crazy. Maybe im wrong tho, but im surprised so many ppl dont like nyx and dont like the coat specials.

  14. I actually love Aspect of Artemis on the daggers. Well… Loved. It did feel a lot more like a parry when old Sorceress existed. Now, timing for it is really awkward, as you can't slow time, block a hit and Teleport behind your enemy with the Omega Attack to dodge the rest of the attack, immediately using your crit chance.
Nowadays… It's pretty janky. The steady, assassin style of the aspect is mostly gone and it now requires some serious timing and mouse control to work to it's full extent. What you could take time with now requires serious speed and precision.

  15. i don't like the change to the change to charon. it's nice that it does damage now. but the change threw off the timing. the omega special charged faster or atleast felt like it did before the change. the new special doesn't feel as fluid as it did before

  16. I feel like Selene would be like B tier or higher if the range on the hex was larger. It feels very counterintuitive that i have to use this clunky ranged special and slow block+punch, but then i need to br in basic attack range to use my hex? Makes me want a good on-hit boon on my attack for when the hex is runnint, but then my omega attack is even worse.

  17. Axe is definitely the beloved weapon for me in this game ❤️
All three aspects are just so much fun to use. Mel for ‘meme’ runs like sprint only. Thanatos for the fast swings, and Charon with lucid gain

Even with the cloak added in the update, by far the Axe is my favorite

  18. Aspect of Artemis is what lets me murk Chronos so easily. I always block the instant kills and then proceed to ruin him… The cooldown could be lowered though, like maybe the levels lower the cooldown.

  19. I actually quite like the aspect of eos so I may be bias, but I like it a lot for how safe it is. If you get strong synergy( I like Zeus on attack and Poseidon on special) because the omega attack seeks targets you can cast it twords the group of enemies and spam the special and most stuff dies pretty quick. Best part is you don’t have to be in the area yourself at all to do that, which is where it being extremely safe comes in. I think for the same reason you ranked Persephone higher eos should be higher as well.

  20. I haven't played all aspects yet, but the axe is in the top 3, not my absolute favorite thus far. Aspect of Momus is a lot of fun, and is tied with aspect of Pan as my favorite so far. I've unlocked Moros torches but I haven't done a run with them yet. They're clearly really strong.
