  2. Freya from Norse mythology has the cat chariot, the large chariots are called Nemean and have a lions face on them it's theorised that the little chariots mew in reference to this although that's an unconfirmed theory since the small chariots are officially flame wheels.

  9. It's funny the gap between how amazingly well he performs in combat vs how weirdly he chooses boons. But then again he's reaching extremely deep (shallow?) extremely early so who am I to judge? XD

  13. There seems to be a misunderstanding with Hades (the place).
    Underworld is not a synonym for hell, it's where all dead people went in general.
    The closest thing there is to heaven actually is Elysium, so Casey was more right than wrong.

    Also, the underworld is not hell, it's the afterlife, heaven, hell, and a bunch of stuff in-between.

  18. The exploding mini-chariots making cat sounds is a fun little pun actually. The big ones are Nemean Chariots, and the most famous Nemean thing is the Nemean Lion.

    The game did NOT expect first-time players to get here this early, having this as the Persephone reveal is totally not how most people learn that information.

    Yeah, this is a bit insane, and I'm anxiously awaiting the next part to see if Ian actually pulls off a win on… run 3? 4?

  32. The greek underworld (Hades) is not just "hell". Everyone who dies ends up in Hades, whether good or bad.

    There are different realms within Hades, though. The most evil people get sent to Tartarus where they are punished for eternity (aka the closest thing to Hell) and great heroes get sent to Elysium. Then there's a few realms for those inbetween.

    So basically Hades is Hell, Limbo and Heaven all packaged into one.

  33. Bit of an "Erm, actually" here, but the Underworld in Greek mythology is not the same as Hell in the Christian mythology. "The Underworld" is just where mortals go when they die. From there, there are roughly three areas where they end up, dependant on how they lived. The very worst go to Tartarus, which would be the Christian Hell. The best, most heroic go to Elysium, which would be the Christian equivalent of Heaven. However, most souls go to Asphodel. Christianity doesn't have a good equivalent to it, but it's where you go if you are neither great nor terrible. Of course, there are a lot of exceptions. Sisyphus should have gone to Asphodel, being mostly just rude and arrogant – not things that would have landed him in Tartarus. However, because he angererd the gods by tricking them, he was thrown into Tartarus anyway. There are a lot of other exceptions, but those are spoilers.
