Maybe it's me being old, but as much as I agree that Zag is being the adult here, I do understand and feel for Hades and Pers in this situation.
"Terrible Choices, by the time you have existed for as long as I have, pray you will have made fewer" That phrase has stuck with me since I first played this game, it speaks volumes about how much Hades realizes he's made bad decisions but feels it's too late to try to fix things. How truly tragic this story is from his perspective, and how much he'd rather protect Pers from Olympus than risk her life over bringing her back.
Of course Pers is happy with the little heaven she created for herself. Considering her situation and knowing how vengeful Olympus is, her best choice is to stay in her little corner for the world and try to draw as little attention to her as possible. Going back to Olympus is a death sentence, and going back to the Underworld is, well…
When Zag was born stillborn it broke her, and like Hades, even if she knows he's alive now, she feels it's would be wrong to try to go back to the family she abandoned.
Meanwhile Zag, being young, energetic, and most importantly ignorant of the true nature and nuance of the situation, feels like there's always time to repair burned bridges if all parties are willing.
Before I forget, assuming the whole 50K subs give away event is going on, here is my suggestion for a video.
