β–Ί Hades 1.0 Full Release Story Synopsis

Hades is a god-like rogue-like dungeon crawler that combines the best aspects of Supergiant’s critically acclaimed titles, including the fast-paced action of Bastion, the rich atmosphere and depth of Transistor, and the character-driven storytelling of Pyre.

As the immortal Prince of the Underworld, you’ll wield the powers and mythic weapons of Olympus to break free from the clutches of the god of the dead himself, while growing stronger and unraveling more of the story with each unique escape attempt.

  1. Thank you so much for sticking with this. It's not really my type of game, so it was fascinating to accompany you on your journey. thank you for gifting us your time, your words and your joy

  2. Great game, great playthrough. Sad to see it end, but i admire you for sticking with it for so long. I've missed a few episodes and have only been lurking for most, but enjoyed every second of it. Going back to episode 1 to see the difference is hilarious ^^. So yeah, thank you !

Lowkey hoping that we'll see Transistor and Pyre one day.

  3. Let's see. Final list of Hades enemies that Welonz has declared her hatred for:

    Umm… everyone. πŸ˜›

Thanks for sharing all the fun, loved every second of it. I was cheering for you so hard during the boss fights! You get my gold medal anyway.

  6. Not usually my type of game but Hades is probably my GOTY from last year tbh, really loved and enjoyed the game on many different levels, characters, relationships, stories, art style, gameplay, it just all clicks together while being really sweet and funny all the way through.
Even though I've already played it even more than you did, kind of sad to see the playthrough coming to an end, it was really awesome, thank you πŸ™‚

  7. Great playthrough of a wonderful game!! Really enjoyed it from the beginning. Good stuff Welonz!!

This run and the first did have a lot of differences though:

Aspect of Zagreus being Legendary as opposed to normal, seeing Chaos, seeing Eurydice in this run, using the troves and getting a legendary boon.

If you truly wanted to replicate the first run, then start over from 0. That'd be interesting to see. Hahaha.

  8. I still remember the first playthrough of yours for this game. Since then, such a long way you walked and accomplished even more. Thank you for all the entertainment and memories. If you ask me, Hades is one of the bests series in this channel. Keep up good work welonz!!

  10. Hey Welonz! I just finished watching your Outer Wilds playthrough and I just loved it so much. I know you played it almost 2 years ago but I was hoping you could suggest me another playthrough of yours that could be kinda similiar? I really like the way you narrated over that game as well as your emotional investment in it. Would love to watch more like that. Thanks!!

i think i saw a speed runner who try to did the exact same thing, except they start a new file and the developer even react to it. u should check it out.

  12. To think that the all-time best Hades playthrough on Youtube has to end somewhere. It's painful, but welcome nonetheless.

Outstanding work Welonz. It's extremely difficult to find channels this dedicated to putting out great videos.

  13. Some older games I really like: Okami and Final Fantasy XII. Both came on PS2 but also got PS4 remasters. Interesting stories and LOTS of exploration. I think you'd really enjoy, so please consider doing LPs in the future maybe πŸ™‚
