My guess is that the staff will be used to cast, each gods cast will either have a per tick or per use of the cast button tied to it. As for sprint and dash it will be interchangeable in the dark mirror equivalent (probably Dora's box.)
A lot of people missed some gameplay information from Steam description of the game: there will be some sort of potion making (“gather reagents using Tools of the Unseen”) and ability to get a familiar (probably a creature that could fight alongside you during a run).
as someone who's relatively new to the concept of early access, did early access of h1 tell the story til the end/credits? i care a lot about story and i wouldn't want them changing the story during development. it sounds like they don't, if lernie used to be the final boss, so i want to just make sure

if zag isn't in the new game at all i will cryyyyy. my theory (wishful thinking) is that we will have to liberate most of the underworld? like the underworld characters we know from the first game will need to be liberate them. some of the shots look like the house of hades but ransacked. also remember that moros who's in the trailer talking to melinoë about her future is thanatos brother/nyx's son. also melinoë, i think, might be a surface dweller. since she starts on the surface. so it will be the inverse of zag? she is forced back to the surface.
