Hades | May Have Pushed It Too Far… | #44

Hades is a roguelike action role-playing video game developed and published by Supergiant Games. The game was released for Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch on September 17, 2020, which followed an early access release from December 2018. Players control Zagreus, the son of Hades, as he attempts to escape from Underworld to reach Mount Olympus, at times aided by gifts bestowed on him from the other Olympians. Each run challenges the player through a random series of rooms populated with enemies and rewards, and the player uses a combination of their main weapon attack, dash power, and magic ability to defeat them while avoiding damage to progress as far as possible. While Zagreus will often die, the player can use gained treasure to improve certain attributes or unlock new weapons and abilities to improve chances of escaping on subsequent runs.

  1. Pally, I managed to complete the trial with 32 heat… it is not worthy, Pally. Trust me, it's not. I spent weeks trying and changing the rules to see what combination could be a little less problematic… and what I got?… Nothing worth the torture.

  2. Try to turn on the in-game timer on your settings. Not only can you see an accurate time, but it helps you know which rooms you don't have to rush in.

The important ones of note that potentially sabotage runs:
-The transition rooms are the place to chill(Not so applicable in a live race, but nonetheless), and the guaranteed well combined with the bone hourglass(Charon's keepsake) make for a supremely strong combo that can make some problem areas that much less pressure[Ex. Getting a 16 room Armor pierce/30% atk buff/+1 Cast/+50%cast dmg].
-The Thanatos rooms can ruin a RTA run, but it pauses the timer(along with the tartarus timed rooms), so if you're running low on health and feel the pressure, you can let than take the bulk of the work.
    – Finally, story rooms also pause the timer, so you don't need to rush through Euridice/patty.
