    1:06 I rather like the term “chandelier drop” for these. They look like birthday cakes lol, but their randomness makes them feel different from Shiva circles, imo

    1:18 the thing that constantly amazes me about you, Scrub, is how you notice solutions like this. This mechanic was such chaos for me originally, and even now it was still chaotic, but at least I knew to use the floor as a guide. But I was so busy paying attention to my feet, I never realised such an elegant solution existed. Cheers

    3:53 strictly speaking, this isn’t the first non-alliance fight that has mechanics that make it mechanically un-soloable (Susano is the first iirc), but they’re still pretty rare (I can only think of this, Susano, and one other. With the former two theoretically possible with enough dps)

    5:28 I love how much the fight plays with death. The doom mechanic has you watching your comrades fall, one by one, and you’re powerless to save them. Here, the seriously long cast time gives you more than enough time to see your demise coming, and to realise there’s nothing you can do to stop it. In the end, we are all powerless in the face of death. Very appropriate of Hades as a FFXIV character, and the source material
