Today I thought I’d play Hades given that every time I open my Steam library I am guilted into looking at it with all of its many shiny video game awards and its many shiny reviews, so here it is.

Dionysus's hangover damage stacks upto 5 times, so 5 damage per 0.5 seconds if stacked is 25 damage per 0.5 sec
Commenting for the algorithm
Upgrading Zagreus's aspect if the bow gives you additional 15% chance of crit. Add Artemis's attack boon on top of that and you get a crit machine.
I hope the seris is to stay i whoud not mindre you doing some runs of cam but u really enjoy this seris
Probably thinking of Dark Souls 2: Crown of the Sunken King, the area was called Shulva, the sunken city and was 'ruled' by a poison dragon who was the last boss.
As far as I know those tiny rooms in the Temple of Styx all count as aseparate encounters. There is one very good endgame keepsake that activates once every three encounters and it does count those rooms.
While I would absolutely be sad to see Hades go, I can definitely understand where you're coming from. It's a pretty long game to get to the end of, though it kind of depends on how long you take to complete the requirements. I got a fifth of the way to the end by Run 60 and finished it fully by about Run 80. (Though for context – you're about where I was at Run 60 and I don't think you've even done 20 Runs yet. Jfc you're really good at this game. :D)
If you wanna make the game a bit easier to stream/record and practice, you can turn on 'god mode' in the options menu. It's one of the best ways I've ever seen it done in a video game – it doesn't make everything pathetically easy and scales really well with your needs. Basically, it starts out giving you 20% damage reduction. Makes the game more survivable (so you can play around and try stuff out more) without making it too easy. And if you die with God Mode on, it increases that damage reduction by 2% each time up to a maximum limit of 80%. Really shows how much the game devs valued the story and experience of Hades over just pure "It's a roguelike, get good scrub" mentality.
Also, something i don't think I've seen anybody say in the comments or you in the videos yet (I'm commenting this at the start of the video :D) – the "Get this God" trinkets only work once. They ensure that, one time a boon will appear, the boon of that God will appear instead. If you take that boon over whatever the other door options are, the trinket is done with and won't get you any more boons after that. It's necessary for balance – you get about four different gods per run (I think) by design so they don't wanna force you to put all your eggs in one basket.
Mr Streamer!
You're snoozing on an enormous, easy to get power spike. You're now advanced enough to start minding one more thing: The MASSIVE (up to 50%) damage bonus you get from the "Privileged Status" Mirror Upgrade. Getting two status effects on enemies isn't hard most of the time, and having ALL damage getting boosted by 50% is gamechanging.
I myself hope you will continue the series, I really love seeing you play.
if you looking for more dialog then you should give more nectar to folk, the more heart you fill up the more unique dialogue and story you get.
Do a full bow run with spread shot. It slaps hard with the correct boons. Also seeking arrow is sorta broken with fast attacking weapons.
Mr. Streamer since you have shown that you are at least somewhat competent at reflex based roguelites might I suggest Dead Cells as the stand in for Hades?
It is less story heavy and there is plenty of progression to be gained even in training runs. Initial difficulty is not that bad but with boss cells it scales well past what is the max for Hades so while I doubt you will complete it, at least it should provide us with a good entertainment for a while.
Sam, you cannot just pull the plug on Hades like this :i this series is so damn good, that i would be sad to see it go away :i
Best wishes
Pog
I vote you keep Hades but play it on your own as well, if you can do that without getting burnt out on the game. It's really enjoyable to watch with your commentary!
PANIC aaaaaa
jk. loved the series, hope you enjoy yourself playing the game.
I think Hades is a good enough game that you should keep it to yourself. It has diminishing returns as a series because of all the stuff you have to do to get the ending
Also ffs you should experience it with the music on
I'm really enjoying Hades, will be sad to see it go. There is an "end", so to speak, that you could play until. Not sure how far away from it you are. And if you wanted things to be a little smoother, there is God Mode in options that let's you gain damage resistance the more you die (allows you to see the story faster, might be better when you are only playing once a day).
As to the bow's aim assist, you can turn it off, if I remember correctly it's in the Control section of options. At least, you can on the PS5 version.
In the greek mythology Demeter the goddess of seasons is all chilly because Hades kidnapped her daughter Persephone because he was lonely and in the game she doesn't know Persephone escaped the underworld that's why it's always winter outside. In the normal mythology Hades agreed that Persephone spend 6 months with him in the Underworld and the rest on Olympus after Zeus intervened, that was the greek explanation for the season because each time Persephone would go to the underworld Demeter would be a bitch about it and send winter
Heads up, you can disable auto aim.
Wow not even a minute in and Mr Streamer has given me a heart attack. But I do understand that you need your own you time to truly understand the game. Also not even a room in and he's already missed a fishing spot smh
Don't be hard on Demeter man. She lost her daughter.
One TINY little note I'll give you is that you're misinterpreting some of the damage bonuses. A +300% bonus makes the total 400%, whereas other boons might set it at 200% damage rather than +200%. Not a hugely important differentiation, but it can be impactful if your build is going for big number. Criticals, for example, deal 300% damage because they deal +200%, not just double damage.
Thank you
1 room 1 missed fishing spot mr streamer is king
Also I would love for this series to keep going no matter what pace you decide on
