Some nice changes but where the hell does that Gastra nerf come from? I have seen exactly one game where they were used and the game was basically already over by then. I'm genuinely confused as to what triggered the nerf for them here. Anybody has any idea?
There are some things I personally dont agree with:
1) Chemira nerf definitly wasnt needed imo. The upgrade should give them HP again. Artemis as a whole isnt that strong when comparing to hephaestus / hera.
2) Hypaspist still a bit too strong.
3) Axeman: Bonus vs Infantry increased from 4x → 5x not needed imo. (I dont like the shift into excessive counter-bonuses)
4) Centimanus nerf to heroes AND MUS is not understandable. Special does like ZERO damage vs MUS now. They need a 100% multi vs them now. Very slow myth that isnt even that tanky and easy to focus down… why nerf him besides the special? (I dont like making Myth units omega trash vs heroes, same with chemira.)
5) Fanatic`s are still a tiny bit too weak. Probably still need + 0.5 damage and/or 10% more pierce res. You could nerf the atlas tech as compensation.
In general MU`s beeing a bit on the OP side is fine, we are playing Age Of Mythology afterall, so they should be the (main) focus.
Otherwhise most changes are very good and make a lot of sense!
I'm curious as to what you guys feel is most broken about Odin? Like I feel as if he's a really good well rounded god but doesn't necessarily have any obnoxious cheese. like, mass centaurs melting armies with aoe, mass hades archers being impossible to take out even with counter units, minotaur rush being near impossible to defend against with some gods, set god power abuse (tbh i would much rather face set, I feel like he's beatable if you outplay him, as opposed to a lot of greek strats that involve braindead massing up unbeatable units). Curious to hear people's thoughts.
All the direct Ra buffs and indirect Ra buffs sound sexy but not helping our problems so..thanks i guess. Oh wait i forgot its slower to rush Heroic ugh.
As some one who wants DauT doing good in red bull I like Odin is not touched, but i cant understand the nerd to fortresses, they felt really weak to me on their own, it makes a position easier to push when an army defends them but its already so easy to push them, unnecessary imo
I really hope they do an atty overhaul at this point. 2 vills per manor sucks, no 2nd tc archaic sucks. I have over 100 ranked games and I can safely say they nerfed all of atty except Gaia. 2 myth units for Kronos is bs compared to what we could do on Ee
This is actually kinda exciting. It's just a first pass, but it shows the developers actually care about the state of the game. Very refreshing after the first aom remake attempt.

DPS means damage per second (damage divided by rate of fire) so if the time between attacks is faster but the damage stays the same, the DPS increases.
Mission 18 has been nerfed into the ground – it used to be hard, now it's a walk in the park quite literally, less mummies, less enemies, less attacks, it's a little bit too easy now, I had to actually check and make sure I was on Titan difficulty and not accidentally on Easy mode, is how easy it has become.
Overall I’m excited for these changes and it’s important to keep in mind that these aren’t the final balance changes we’ll get. I like that the devs are taking some big swings
Before the patch I was on a 10 game winning streak with posiedon going through Ares for a 1 based cyclops timing attack. They were great before the patch, but oh my they will be potent now
I can understand the joy in seeing med being removed, as a pro player, but as a casual and viewer, it sucks big time for us. For me, Med was the most excited map to watch, since it was a perfect blend of non-stop land and water action.
Why is no one talking about poseidon? His winrate is absurdly high, even higher than odin, and you both were surprised to not see odin nerfs. I'm not even sure why it's so high, is it just centaur?

Multiplayer experience does not feel improved. Still alot of "full" lobbies and desyncs
