Alecto Boss Fight & Thanatos Challenge! [Hades (BLIND) – 11] | Nintendo Switch

In this episode of Hades, we meet two new faces. One of them being another boss battle with one of Megaera’s Fury Sisters, Alecto. The other being a friend we’ve known a long time ago, Thanatos. Thanatos apparently challenges us to see who can kill enemies faster.

Also, Greatshield enemies still suck.

Keep in mind this is a BLIND playthrough of Hades for the Nintendo Switch.

  1. Honestly one thing you should do is not take the skelly's boon until Elysium or Styx, don't forget to gift the gods you like with nectar honestly : basically all gods give you the "same keepsake", cause their keepsake is basically if you take it you're going to get one of their boons next and rarity upgraded, it's particularly useful to take one of these to start the game if you have a favorite boon, the Eurydice's keepsake is also interesting, if you max out you can take up to 5 hits from bosses without damage which is very powerful i think, gift Patrocle when you can he has good keepsake too for me. And as last advice for this comment, i highly recommand to buy the list of boons in the codex, being able to know what gods can offer and plan about strategy with their boons is important, note that generally you're not gonna meet more than 3 or 4 different gods in a run, they're just gonna come back in cycle (this exclude Hermes and Chaos), so don't be afraid to try the trial of gods, if that's in Tartarus or Asphodel i think it's worth it, in Elysium that's very risky but you can still try. And i also that you're starting to dealing well with Asterius so go in mini-boss room in Elysium may be scary but he's much less dangerous without Theseus in support and the reward can be very good i think. Also note that bosses rooms in styx give double reward : 100>200 gold, upgraded rarity boon, 25>50 health, and pomegrades upgrade by 2 levels instead of 1, that's the same for the prices in Charon's shop. Good luck for the next.

  2. Only 3 sisters (including Meg) so you met them all now. I agree that Alecto is the hardest.
You got a good handle on Asterius it seems, but Theseus is still a pain. He's tricky if you don't have high dps, calls or piercing hammers. But hey, visible improvement over the first few runs. I think focusing a bit more on boons over resources would help out.
