  1. Ive been thinking about it, and would you say that abyssal blood is more worth it than boiling blood for cast/secondary damage builds at 32 heat? A large chunk of your damage doesn't come from attack/special damage in either case, which is the only thing it boosts, and 30% speed and damage reduction are really worth it at 32 heat especially if certain pacts make it unmanageable

  2. Hi Haelian, new to hades… Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I cant find a detailed video on how to use titan blood. Do I have to escape once first?
    tia & love the content

  3. One of my favorite builds! I used God's Pride instead and privileged status since the cast already provides one curse. Also my Exit Wounds does a lot more damage than yours. Maybe it's because it's usually epic and lvl 3+

  4. I don't think the tight deadline timer should pause after combat because it would take too much pressure and excitement away. Imagine a race where after each lap the timer would stop, and you could go get a drink of water, chat with your coach, have a little stretch, etc., then decide to start the next lap and the timer started again. Wouldn't be a very exciting race!

  5. Im pretty fine with the sac being random. I can imagine it being very frustrating when speedrunning that ~50% of your attempts just die in the last biome, but for the average player I think it makes the game better. All the theories that people had about how to influence when the sac appeared were awesome and felt old school video game-y.

  6. I think a strange design choice is bosses not being resistant to statuses. I've played a lot of RPGs that have that, and I can see why after playing Hades. It makes a lot of boss fights VERY trivial, especially with Privileged Status. Ofc the Heat System counteracts this, buuuuuut it still feels weird to me after all this time.

  7. yo what if the second tunnel always had the sack, and instead of having boss doors with better rewards, the last three tunnels have better rewards, and maybe the 5th tunnel has something even better

  8. Who's your favorite actor from the live action scooby doo movies?
My favorite is Matthew Lillard, the guy who played Shaggy, he's even voice acting as Shaggy now because he was so good in the movies 😀

  9. for me personally tight deadline changes how you play in a much worse way, with pretty much all the others you can still avoid getting hit and get better with base power zag, but with TD you also have to worry about your dps, which can literally be out of your control

  10. I think they should've fully commited to the tight deadline; it should've been either no timer pauses at all or the game auto pauses after every combat encounter, but not this hybrid version. I think the reason why they went with this one is it allows the player to take a break; if your cat is acting like a goblin or you have to pee really bad then you can take a break, otherwise the version I actually want to have in the game (no pauses at all) would require you to have an uninterrupted 15-30m free time.

  11. Tight deadline should pause because it stops when you pause, it was the earliest modifier I used because simply it's how I played anyways fast and reckless, making it not pause between rooms just seems pointless when in every other situation it does after bosses in shops and between stages. I see the argument against it but it's definitely just feels out of place

  12. I was thinking the timer going when you can just pause makes the timer pointless, but then realized that it's not the same: when you're paused, you can't move, and that's a BIG difference. The pause gives a nice balance where you can still take your time to decide what you want, but you can't explore the whole room for pots, can't do the troves, etc.

One alternative might be having an area around the doors where the timer pauses. So you have to get to the doors as quick as possible, but once you're there, you can take your time

  13. oh styx, my thought is that they already make changes to how h
the game works when you take tight deadline, to keep it fair. So I could see something where the chance for a sack goes up with each tick of tight deadline you take, so at max TD you're almost guaranteed a 2 sack.

  14. I would it prefer if the game auto-paused after a room is cleared.
As for the Sack, I'd find it interesting if it was always in a boss room, but you could find stuff in the other hallways that made the bosses easier. So you could either go for it right away or take a detour to give you an advantage in the fight.

  15. I think a great idea would be to make it so the first 5 seconds or so after you pause don't pause the timer, that way you couldn't "cheese" the mechanic by simply pausing, but it would still allow someone to take a pause during gameplay

  16. I think being able to pause during tight deadline is getting the best of both worlds, if you dont want to pause you get to deal with the pressure of the timer, if you do want to pause, you can.
