"Eris bangle good for a cast build" – I don't really think I understand how the "undamaged foes" thing works for things like Hera cast. I'm under the impression that the damage is dealt in separate instances, first the attack damage, then each cast in succession, so would only the attack damage get boosted? Or do they somehow give some grace period for an enemy going from "undamaged" to "damaged" state?
Or is it just the way I said it is but it's still good because the spell's AOE hits other enemies too?
I always wonder about this especially with this exact build when something like Blown Kiss comes up

You got really lucky in that god trial. If I take a god trial and Athena is in it I alway take Athena. Especially in Elysium.
It’s always a gamble in my eyes to make Athena mad in a trail. Her protecting enemies can be a nightmare. Especially those enemies that regenerate in Elysium.
Pomegranate is actually delicious and very sweet. At least the mediterranean ones I've tried. Something went very wrong with the one you bought.

I always interpreted Parting shot as any backstab bonuses you have get added to cast damage, whether it’s backstab or up front.
So you get a +35% damage boost from the boon, and then +50% from shadow presence, and + any well items.
Why wouldn’t the cast be able to backstab without parting shot if you have shadow presence on?

so. my understanding of parting shot is that it doesnt say the cast CAN backstab, just that it gets the same damage bonuses a backstab does. so if you have the 50% bonus from the mirror, it gets that always not just when you hit the enemy from behind
If you get a fresh pomegranate, look up the "whack it with a spoon" method for getting all the edible bits out. Just make sure it's not a metal spoon, you'll hurt yourself (or so I've heard). It's definitely a difficult fruit to prep, but it's delicious and refreshing once you get it done.
Buying the Titan's Blood at the end is a way for people who can't beat higher heat runs to max out their weapon aspects.

other people have said it, but I think you got unlucky, my family buys pomegranates from Indian stores (and then I guess just normal stores when we're in India LMAO) and they're *soooo good*. Maybe a little bit sour if they're ripe, but nice and sweet in general

The pom seeds were probably fermented. If you eat them from the fruit, they are sweet sour and a tiny bit bitter with no alcohol smell or taste.
Also, they can ferment pretty quickly when peeled. The store should throw them out after a day.
Yeah I actually ran Hera Bow last night with Aphrodite cast. Fricken busted. I played Hades back in 2020 on Switch and even managed to finsh a few runs, but i always used the sword or the spear. The bow never seemed my style, but since i started playing the PC version on my Deck I've been trying stuff out of my comfort zone. Hera Bow is godly, i always feel like this kind of build would be above my pay grade, but i rocked it. Got Flurry and triple shot, Aphrodite cast and Artemis attack. Had a pretty good Crit/weak/hangover build going that made it to the end.

You kind of poo-pooed Ares but Battle Rage is one of my favorite boons in the game. I sometimes will go for Ares just for that boon, esp when playing chunk builds (spear special builds esp with charged skewer or exploding launcher, bow attack builds, hestia, Arthur).

The Parting Shot disagreement was over whether Parting Shot grants +35% backstab damage from all sources, or just from the cast. The answer from Amir was that it increases backstab damage from all sources 👍
