Ancient Greek, Spoken by Gods (Zeus, Hades & Sea Nymphs)

Can you imagine how the Gods spoke Greek? The thundering echoes of Zeus, or the hoarse shadowy whispers of Hades, even the light muffle of sea nymphs underwater?

Well I’ve tried to replicate just those things with three passages of spoken Ancient Greek language, using the Lucian Pronunciation and no small reliance on my editing software. A step into Greek Mythology itself: the peaks of the Caucasus, the Underworld, and the waters of Oceanus.

Prepare to hear Zeus roar at Prometheus, Hades command Hermes, and Doris belittle Galatia. This is by no means a perfect pronunciation, but one more step in my improvement I hope! All passages are from Lucian of Samosata’s dialogues, involving first-person, spoken, ancient Greek.
