Why is carpenters a negative for divine blood?
I really don't get why Hades players don't abuse Gastraphetes. 5 Gastraphetes with burning pitch can mow down buildings really easily. and they're arguably similar cost and pop as other siege.
Greek villager wood gather rate with bow saw and divine blood is 1.25/s. With divine blood and carpenters it's 1.346/s. It's absolutely worth it to get carpenters regardless of whether you have divine blood researched.
Wood gather rate with just carpenters is 1.388 which is slightly higher but that's not a reason not to get carpenters.
Also note that those gather rates assume no walking time. As trees get further from storage pit gather rate with divine blood and carpenters gets better than with just carpenters.
I think towers are great due to space efficiency. Since you can put so many of them in a smaller area, you effectively increase the dps in that area but you can't necessarily spam as many fortresses in same place. Fortresses however allow you to build stuff which is quite a big deal so there is that
