Hades is a 2020 roguelike action role-playing game developed and published by Supergiant Games. It was released for macOS, Nintendo Switch, and Windows following an early access release in December 2018. It was later released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in August 2021, and was released for iOS in March 2024 through Netflix Games.

Players control Zagreus, the son of Hades, as he attempts to escape from the Underworld to reach Mount Olympus, at times aided by gifts the other Olympians bestow on him. Each run contains a random series of rooms populated with enemies and rewards. The game features a hack and slash combat system; the player uses a combination of a main weapon attack, a special attack, a dash ability, and a magic ability to defeat enemies while avoiding damage to progress as far as possible. While Zagreus will often die, the player can use the treasure gained during runs to improve certain attributes or unlock new weapons and abilities to improve the chance of escaping on subsequent runs.

  1. I beg the differ while it is true that Ares is a god of war. He is not an idiot. While it is true that, he embodies the brutal aspects of war, he is not a meathead who go around starting it. It would goes again his characterization in Hades to just reignite a war amongst olympians and titans. He enjoys bloodshed, not to an extreme degrees to the point of just start a conflict that threaten even his own authority at the top olympus.

  2. As far as I remember, some gods had gave us hints that both, Athena and Ares, are fighting against the army that is trying to get to Olympus and they are too busy fighting to help Melinoe for now. Maybe we will get to see them once we have more content, but for now, I don't think he did that. Still, it is a posibility and it would be pretty cool if it was true, but I think Eris might be more likely to have started it just to see the world burn (?

  3. I dont think both these dialogues are worth anything. If u want to support ur theory Eris says something like this :"Ares must be having the time if his life. I mean think about being the gid of war at a time like this. How estatic would u be??"
Athena in old the game warns Ares to steer the same way as the Olympians.
I personally believes Ares is the last boss at the surface seiging the walls of Olympus probably havingbsome sort of deception going around.
