🤔 NEW HERE? 🤔
Hi! My name is Christopher Odd and I’ve been playing video games on the internet for a few years. I really enjoy a variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (Bioshock, The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us etc), strategy/roguelike games (XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Darkest Dungeon, etc), and RPGs (Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Dragon Age, etc). Of course, I am always looking for great indie games too!

  1. Didn't know about the first game, this one looks really cool. There's something about mythology that's really appealing to me. Rouge like games on the channel have felt pretty interesting to me, especially when you're clearly having a great time enjoying them. Many thanks for sharing, Odd!!! 😁

  2. So speaking of "they could have just given us more Hades instead of a Hades 2", the DLC era has really complicated the idea of sequels. You kinda have to have some bold new idea for the franchise (going from 2D side scroller to 3D open world for example), that demands a completely new game, or have some pressing need to start over on a new game engine, otherwise doing traditional sequels is always going to feel a bit silly, and the constant DLC means never quite being sure when the old game ends and the new one should begin.

  4. Nuclear Throne and Enter The Gungeon are up there on my tier list with Hades – but I have to say that Hades take the cake in terms of sheer style. Loved the trailer for this one, and completely psyched for when they decide it's ready to come out of the Early Access oven.

  5. I'm excited that you're gonna do a series on this release! It's such a beautiful game to behold, and Odd's reactions to the bullet hell struggle bus were quite entertaining in the original Hades series

  6. Your binding spell was 100% stopping enemies in their track if they were in it. You did it a couple times in the video and every time it worked the pressure on you was almost eliminated immediately. 13:42 for example

  7. Great first run! I can’t be leave you beat Hecite on your first try! It took me three tries before I was able to do that! I’m not sure how many runs deep I’m in now, but I almost beat the fourth boss. I was so close. Can’t wait to see more of this!

If you love the background storytelling from the first game, you’re gonna love it in this one!

  8. Glad to see you play this game. Some advice, whilst your character is weak, take advantage of destroying trees / terrain onto enemies, it hits hard in an arc / circle that is extremely effective.
