  2. nothing wrong with playing similar games. I actually love when they do that for my favorite games. Like Diablo for instance. It's like saying, why play PoE when you can just play Diablo? Just because it's the first of its genre, doesn't mean it has to be the only game like it. When I play a game into the ground, I welcome games just like it. TBH I wish more metroidvanias had HK-like pogos in them, but for whatever reason, it seems like even though there has been a surge in metroidvanias, they aren't taking advantage of some amazing discovered mechanics. Team Cherry does not own the pogo.

  4. gambling is illegal in my state 🙁 lol but I'm only about an hour and a half away from a shitload of casinos in the state next door. kind of funny how things work out like that. If you don't like gambling, don't gamble. It's a shame because we COULD get a shitload of jobs if casinos were a thing here. Especially in Gulf Shores. Maybe one day, Alabama will take its stick out its ass.
    Edit: Also I think gambling would be a lot more humane if the people who invest over certain amounts, have to prove they can survive the loss. I think a lot of people's problem with it is the addictive nature of it, and seeing people go through immense suffering through their loss. Like, no one wants to see that. At the very least, if people had to prove they can comfortably survive after losing, it would take people's mind off the downsides(even though there would be a disparity on "survival"). Casinos that refuse to "take your last dollar"
