I’ve watched a lot of your vids on hades but is there ever one where you beat Thanatos without him killing an enemy?
In all honesty, I don’t feel the backlog on Youtube at all! Mostly because I feel like we’re honestly so spoiled just from still getting Hades content at this point and I appreciate (and love) every vid!! Thanks for streaming, Dan! Hope you can enjoy other games in the near future. ♥️ P.S. I still find myself rewatching the full stream of Dark Souls on your Twitch channel. That was just so hilarious
Heyo! You’re right, we balanced Apollo so that he’s interesting to play with, but not overpowered. (Jawless Paul managed to get 20k damage off the Famed Duet shotgun lasers beams and bypassed Hades Phase 3, we had to nerf that). He’s more of a defensive god, so a lot of his boons aren’t that powerful in terms of damage output.
Sea Chantey is still somewhat unless balancing, we’re not sure how much to put the damage output/input numbers. But it does have some nice animations though. (Also we spelt it Chantey instead of Shanty because I grew up with British English so the British spelling was used, oops)

Not sure if I wanna wait for this mod to get updates or not. Apollo would be a lot of fun on Guan Yu or Gilgamesh or a melee sword aspect, I imagine, but I don't see any boons yet that make me go, "ahh, that'll change up how I play!"
