How do you not take any damage on the last fight? It looks like you're getting hit but you're health isn't moving.
Ares shield was my first build ever to get all the way to the final boss. Shield in general is just kinda silly because it's the only weapon that can just say no to damage.

Enjoyed this format a lot! Maybe you can add the explaining commentary during the rest of the footage rather than before? Some of your conversation to your stream sort of loses meaning. Even so this is just trying to dig for constructive feedback, I found the video nice and helpful!

This looks so fun! Have you tried Poseidon Special on Chiron's bow? Some crazy control and dps with the right hammers
Ares special plus Artemis duo where it homes is a win on its own
If you can get the 500% damage buff with your Bull Rush along with the 400% damage to armor you will roll easily. Add to that a Special with Ares Death Curse and I think that is the most dominant build in the game.

I'm watching all of your videos but I dont freaking understand how do you make SO much damage? You literally melt everything around you. Here, you deal 139 dmg with your normal (not charged) fast attack, while I do half the size, even with all the attack damage boons. Not even mentioning your special.
I don't know why you keep mentioning people having problems getting through hades and such. The game become so easier with just a lil gameplay

Shield really is the easy mode weapon. Just infinite invulnerability with dash.
i really enjoy these highlights and id love to see some decisionmaking cut in, just to follow the run a little better buildwise
i played the game for the first time and died like 2 time unlocked the shield and blast my way to minotaur & spear dude boss, with ares, hermes and poseidon simultaneously i just become invinsible with dash and doon damage
I have a similar build but with Zeus special lightning damage
It was SOOO broken when you get double lightning proc (I got lucky on power ups and got up to 60% double strike).
Pile that with Jolt and bosses/ mobs in full screen evaporates.
Shield throw in this game is just broken XD.
It's sad that bow / gun is much more restrictive and requires way more investment/ hammer for it to work smoothly.
I got my doom damage to 496 on the final boss, but I was using the lance with the Q upgrade that made it bounce between 7 enemies before I caught it. Same build really

With shield and laser shot upgrade you can litteraly just sit in the corner for hades and not ever take damage
I know you said this was more of a highlight reel but it also skipped like… all the highlights. There were abilities you were using and discussing that weren't covered. You didn't really explain what was going on. Maybe rather than use the stream sound, a voice-over explaining what's going on would've gone a long way.
And it might just be me, but I don't feel the shield is as "Braindead" mode as you say. You're using the bull rush, blocking, throwing your shield. Getting some normal attacks in there. Braindead for me is like a Bow + Extra Arrows Hammer + Zeus Special. If you manage to get Athena Dodge or Piercing Arrows…. dear lord.
I've picked up several hammers but I dont think I've ever been able to give nectar. I just want to unlock the Ares keepsake.. am I just missing something?
I wish you would show a summary of all the things you mention or list the items you discuss in the build under your description of the video. Some thing like Icy veins does that's a quick reference guide ………
