Cave to Hades (Canada) – Flammable, We Are All! (Album 2023)

Basically a follow up to D.N.E.’s “Inverted Paradox Existence”.
After that release D.N.E. (Tsalal, Black Abyss, Bullet Clenched in Teet, Abraxas Black, etc.), decided it would more proper to continue under a moniker, and so Cave to Hades came to be.

Definitely a step up from IPE, this new record is over an hour of a monolithic path to inviduation and discovery. A barrage of soul-crushing Black Noise, developed around multiple, endless layers of riffage, that only often appear to have some more structure, before progressively compressing you unto utter chaos. Forting you to hermitage, only to resurge stronger and enlightened. Some absolutely chaotic drums are also present in this, and moments of pure Harsh Noise made with distortion pedals. Not for the faint of hear, although having some excellent riffs, this release often borderlines on droning Harsh Noise, but its textures definitely make up for an oddly meditative piece.
