Second release by Cave to Hades, quickly following up to the absolutely monolithic “Flammable, We Are All!” album released, definitely one of the best Noise and BM-adjacent releases of the year.
The second release since D.N.E. (Tsalal, Black Abyss, Abraxas Black, etc.) changed the moniker name to Cave to Hades sees project continue on a similar ground, mixing some Black Metal riffage and primitive often shamanistic drumming but also intrepid blasts with Harsh Noise elements creating over 20 minutes of Black Noise which, at surface may sound undiscernible, but with various and attentive listens one can find a lot of intoxicating and brilliant elements, from the multiple layers of ominous keyboards, to the primitive and oblique riffage which often reminisces with Ahulabrum or Brenoritvrezorkre. This mix of elements definitely brings to mind Pantokrator 333 from the infamous Cruentus label.
