Hades is probably my favourite boss fight in the whole GoW series. When you’re fighting him with his own claws he reminds me of an angry bartender at last call. 😆

The wasn't the boat captain that wanted revenge on Kratos that was Alrik the barbarian king. It's implied that he was Hades mortal champion similar to how Kratos was Ares. Kratos kills him twice the first time when he offered his soul to Ares and the second time in God Of War 2.
Hades is my favourite God from this game his design is so amazing.

Btw if you think this was the best boss battle yet just wait until you get a little deeper into the game, you will understand why Atreus in GOW4 asked “Can you kill something that big?” The biggest being in all of GΩW. Which reminds me, this is a little late news but the 1st game to ever take place in chronological order is Ascension which you can play on PSNow if you don’t have a PS3.

You play really well, only every now and then you think a bit too complicated and make life/game a bit too difficult for yourself. If you trust one or the other thought of yourself more, it will be easier.

Might be nostalgia speaking but I think it's the best fight in the whole series!!
The claws were undoubtedly my favorite weapon in the whole series.
Easy mode?
This game finally got the idea of giving him different weapons correctly. "Normal" weapons made the game feel generic, the Blades is what made the game special. So now we get four chain weapons, each with their own magic ability!
I loved the Claws because they changed his dash animation in a unique way.
