I really like the original thumbstud opener verion of the Damned Designs Hades, but now they have upped the game with this version released in 2022 and it has lost the thumbstuds, gained an opening hole, but with the same great action, hidden liners and trapezoidal, yet ergonomic, handle. Also available in Ti handle and other G10 colors (check the links below)

Love the new design. I wasn't a fan of the thumb studs so I held out and happy to see that he added a hole instead so I ordered one on pre-order and recently got the copper scales on it. Great video to show the OG. Cheers!
I like the looks of the original more than the V2. Not saying the V2 isn't a good looking blade, I prefer thumb studs over the cut out. Great video!
Prefer the older version of the Hades, but wish it were in 14c28n. Very well, thoughtfully done folders I have to say. How do you compare their different steels if you have any model in different steels (asking more about how their D2 vs 14c28 vs 154 cm steels compare). Thanks!
