  1. Oh man, is this the run?!

15:06 I actually love Hephaestus's boons on attack and special, especially if you can get his Vent boon, too, which deals an additional few hundred damage if you don't do damage with his boon for three seconds. Kind of like the opposite of Zeus's Blitz curse, but the massive damage makes up for it.

22:15 actually, your reasoning is totally valid. If you had Hephaestus's blast on your attack and were spamming it, you'd be pretty much guaranteed to trigger the Chain Reaction duo boon. What I'm more surprised about is that you decided not to take the 20 armor that resets after each encounter lol.

    51:45 lmao

lol i feel your pain, homie. bright side, you're continuing to learn and get farther! There's definitely a few more things you can probably discern from his encounters, at least that you haven't verbalized yet.

  2. 22:19 Ngl, my inner self did scream "Embrace the Chaos, please!!!" But at the end of the day, it is your playthrough and decisions so I don't mind it as much. Just chilling while eating chips 😀

  3. I suggest watching Haelian’s video on Chronos to learn his moveset. If you couldn’t do it with the Demeter infusion you just need to get a little more gud.

  4. You’ve improved so much! This was a really fun run to watch, all it came down to was your unfamiliarity with Chronos’s phase 2 attack patterns. A lot of times you dodged toward the centre of the attack and took 3-4 instances of damage whereas for radial attacks dodging outward to the rim of the arena gives you more space. But the fight gets really cluttered and visually confusing so—very understandable. It’s just a matter of time. The Demeter damage reduction was so clutch

  5. That duo boon was actually great, you just had to double tap your special whenever Hephaestus' boon was charged and you'd have done a metric ton of damage with ease. A shame you passed it.

  6. Here's another fun fact!
Chronos's design with the golden cracks running through is body is a design called Kintsugi meaning "Golden Repair" in Japanese. They use a lacquer mixed with precious metal dust to repair broken objects or sometimes mold entire missing parts out of the stuff. They actually use a similar design for the entire architecture of the fortress at the end of time in the Disney+ show, Loki. I suppose the idea is that old things tend to break eventually and need to be repaired. On top of that, I believe Chronos was actually broken apart before being bound in Tartarus, which the game also makes reference to. Perhaps Chronos's own Kintsugi are the scars from his original battle with his spawn.
    Bonus fun fact!
The famous painting "Saturn Devouring His Son" by Francisco Goya is likely not a depiction of what the title describes. The painting was named after the artist's death when it was discovered painted on the walls of his home. It's part of the series of paintings people called the "Black Paintings" and themselves were painted over older paintings which may have been more positive in nature. I bring this up because Kronos's Roman counterpart is Saturn. The game kind of combines Kronos and Chronos, which apparently is something that happened a few times throughout history, as well, especially during the Italian Renaissance.

  7. You made the right pick for a serious run, but I woulda picked the duo just to get it out of the fated list. Finding any specific duo is such a pain that I grab em whether I need them or not until they are off the list.

It's kinda annoying that the infusion for an element doesn't give you a point of said element.

It's easier to dodge Chronos' scythe throw if you dash toward the inside of it so it moves past you while you are moving past it.

1:08:13 What's going on there was that you were standing on the center of the clock when the damaging hands appeared.

You need to dash outward past the collapsing ring attack when it closes in on you, not run into the center where it all crashes together on you.

Don't get too discouraged, the game is all about running it over and over again. Even when you beat Chronos you still have to keep doing runs to complete the story, so even failed runs are giving you progress.

  8. Have you seen the other Olympians?
I might hate other gods too if I had to share a home with a drunk, several philanderers, an insufferable know it all, Hera’s latest blood feud of the day and Ares the war god nobody likes.
