► Hades 1.0 Full Release Story Synopsis

Hades is a god-like rogue-like dungeon crawler that combines the best aspects of Supergiant’s critically acclaimed titles, including the fast-paced action of Bastion, the rich atmosphere and depth of Transistor, and the character-driven storytelling of Pyre.

As the immortal Prince of the Underworld, you’ll wield the powers and mythic weapons of Olympus to break free from the clutches of the god of the dead himself, while growing stronger and unraveling more of the story with each unique escape attempt.

  1. I'm glad you got a taste of how vast Hypnos' array of context-specific death dialogue is! After a certain point in your regular runs, you died so infrequently that I was worried you'd miss out on that! ;P He really has so much to say! And hey, great progression on the Achilles / Patroclus story! 🙂

  2. I remember once I saw a video of a streamer playing Hades for the first and after talking to Hypnos for the first time he goes, "Great so he's Twitch chat." Hypnos certainly did his best to live up to that in this video.

  3. One of the fundamental game mechanics rears its head again: dying is directly tired to progress. You would have probably gotten the Achilles and Patroclus storyline done by now if you weren't far above average at the game in terms of skill level.

  4. "Your contributions to this realm are appreciated." I mean, when you think about it, Zagreus is supposed to be demonstrating holes in Underworld security. I guess Hades probably finds it reassuring that he CAN be stopped, even if almost the entire Pact has to be active to achieve such a thing. Good show on that, and congrats on the Patrochilles progress!

  5. That was fun in a weird way lol and nice to get that many dialogues and progress in one vid.
We didn't get to see Meg but at least we got a lot of Nyx in a short span of time, she's pretty awesome too!

  6. Damn you made short work of that prophecy and all the new Hypnos dialogue it was a surprisingly productive day

though I gotta admit it’s quite refreshing and fun seeing you struggling through Tartarus

  7. That was nuts, and a lot of fun to watch. If you ever try this again the Aspect of Rama might be a good one. Seems like you were majorly kicking butt with it even in it's level 1 form. Chaos's keepsake might be useful too.
