I kinda feel bad for her tbh
Do I hear character development, or just exasperation at Mel's naivety in that last "I lean, I guess" ?
She's the youngest of the siblings so far, I guess the kids didn't have time for her!
What I find ironic with Eris is that for all her rebellious behavior, she is the one most enslaved to her work (i.e. her domain strife) out of all Nyx's children. Both Than and Hypnos don't just act as death or sleep incarnates respectively and are capable of building positive relations with others, Moros takes care to try and let mortals meet their dooms with dignity and actually respects those who overcome their dooms (even if it means more work for him), and Nemesis at least has enough self-awareness to admit when she is wrong and tries to treat Melinoe better.
One of the biggest themes in the series is that being good at your job does not justify getting consumed by it, as Hades in the first game and Chronos in this one demonstrate.
