Here’s kinda a throwback to the formats like the Elden Ring and Minecraft video! Just a video of me praising a game straight up, no dings no wings just facts. Hades didn’t really lend itself to the normal format so I had to shake it up a bit with a more free flow script! Don’t worry! The normal wins videos aren’t going anywhere! So stick around and enjoy what made Hades so GREAT!

  1. The only thing wrong with this video was the lack of discussion about the music in the game. Darren Korb went so hard for the OST, and we honestly don't deserve it, but I'm so glad we have it

  2. Having played Hades 2 early access for 40 hours the #1 change from the first game to me is the fact there's no double dash and no divine blessing (or Athena in that matter. She is too busy in that game). The "meta" in the first game was to spam dash-attack and paired with Athena, you'd just have almost instant i-frames. Takes a lot out of the whole idea about learning attack patterns and improving at dodging shit

  3. Oh my gods, we have the same shirt! The white button down with the palm frond patterns, that means it's fate that I need the sleep mask. Or we have the same fashion sense and that's a win on itself.

  4. Hades was my first ever Platinum Trophy and I'm super proud of that achievement.

Also love how Extreme Measures changes the bosses.

Furies: All three gang up on you.

Lernie: New arena and main head hops around.

Thesius and Asterius: Gaudy gold armor and chariot (Theseus), and fine gold drip (Asterius)

    Hades: Stops holding back.

  5. This is just personal preference, but Hades is not fun for me. I feel like there's no progression whatsoever. Having to start over each time from zero is just… boring. I've already been through here, just let me go to the new part already! Had each "layer" been twice as long but had you been able to start at whichever one you wanted once you reached them once, it would have been a MUCH better game.
Honestly, had it been a normal RPG hack&slash it would have been a lot better, especially as the story it tells is not captivating enough for me to get hooked on just that (never mind the mind-numbing amount of mythological mistakes).

  6. I'm a sucker for video game music, and Hades has the best soundtrack I have heard in any game. I'm really excited to play Hades II, I just want to wait until it leaves early access before buying it.
