I'd love to see more of this stuff. It can be difficult to find this information, especially years later, so it acts as a little time capsule of gaming history. It's not the most important info to preserve but I do think it's worthwhile.
I do wish we could get a DLC for Hades I with all olympic gods. Imagine Hephaestus not giving boons per se, but literally changing your loadout by allowing you 2 attack boons while removing the possibility for a special boon and more. Have a Run with no Cast, special or call but 4 Attack boons working together or something like that.
I know its a BIG job to add more gods and characters to a game with this interwoven a narrative and not have them feel patched on, but I would love it.

I'm glad we get Apollo in the next game but oh how I wish he had stayed in this one. Blinding enemies is one of my favourite playstyles in any game that has it.

Undoubtedly we will see some returns in Hades 2. Well at least I hope so.
Watching your videos has made me want to replay Pyre and while I haven’t figured out why it seems to fall behind the other games, it is very interesting to see a lot of precursors to Hades abilities, sound effects and special effects. It’s a visual masterpiece.

I remember some of this stuff. The journey up to proper release was wild. I still recall when characters like Nyx and Charon weren't even designed above NPCs.

Seeing Doom Flare really makes me wish Slicing Flare was better. Youd think with all the synergies (Hunting Blades) blade rifts get it would be so much better but…. its just awful
This is very interesting and insightful! In hindsight I think they did a great job from cutting all this stuff from the game, during the early access. Seems like they got great feedback which led to a perfect game for all types of players. You can't ask for anything more than that. I would want a future official patch however that adds Apollo and Hestia boons in the game permanently ! 😀

How can you access the deleted "beam bow" aspect? Is there a mod that unlocks it?
