Hades is guided by the River Styx, personified, and introduced to the Underworld.
Named after it’s new lord, Hades is a realm for the dead – Hades himself explores it with some of the godly residence as he imagines how it will be when the mortal souls arrive.

I do appreciate Hades getting a better image these days after the Disney Hercules film. I kinda like the guy now
This is my favorite offering of Living Mythology….i have listened to it many times. Hades is given a voice that He is too often denied and here He is not some cold admistratior. Here He is eldest Brother, wise, and engaging and warn with spark of life still in place. Styx and Her dialogue woth Hades bring the shadowy Underworld into sharpest vision. She is more Being here then ever before i had concieved Her to be. I must admit, the tenderness of Hades toword his subject, and Styxs living warmth….in the consoation of the Hereafter makes me weep everytime….were i not destined to run in my Mother's retinue upon the end of my days, should the Underworld be but a fraction of this? Well, what would there to be aftaid of?
