  4. Hades is a mythological game based on the case of the ancient Greek pantheon, so with Greek instrumentals and influences from the ideas and or vocals of a more haunting sound of say a darker Halloween added with some Greek orchestral, we get some of the best soundtrack for hades.

  7. All of Supergiant games have great OSTs. Build that Wall (Zia's Theme) from Bastion was a big one that won awards if I remember. Transistor also has great vocal tracks like The Spine, In Circles, or We All Become.

  11. By the same people who made Hades's OST (same singers but also the same amazing video game company Supergiant Games) I'd recommend the OSTs of Bastion, Pyre and Transistor which are also fantastic <3

    Supergiant Games btw is like, the one game studio I've ever known that just gets straight 'A's in everything across the board every time: Great gameplay, amazing music and lyrics, incredible stories, actually treats its workers well, and their games are even fairly cheap to buy so er yeah. Would heartily recommend playing them too though do be warned that Hades can require a LOT of playhours to finish. Like I'm talking 'playing an hour of it becomes part of a weekly routine because binge playing it past a certain point might consume your life but its too good to give up on' kinda long~ XD

    As for the context of In The Blood, its basically the 'first big finale' credits theme and the game is VERY Greek mythology inspired so lets just say the focus on blood (both in regards family good and bad and the actual substance) is incredibly fitting for a whole host of reasons.
    It's my favorite theme in the game too though honestly the OST as a whole is amazing and definitely worth giving a listen.

    Anyway specific song tracks by Super Giant Games I'd heartily recommend listening to:
    From the Bastion OST: Build that Wall, Mother I'm here, and the combination of the two in Setting Sail, Coming Home.
    From the Transistor OST: We All Become, In Circles, The Spine, Signals, Paper Boats, and She Shines (aka: Every song in the game. They're all just that good <3)
    From the Pyre OST: In The Flame, Vagrant Song, Never To Return (would recommend more but I think Pyre songs more than any of the others kind of need in game context because of their more 'folk/sung story' style and even though I recommended these three they give off those vibes too).
    For the Hades OST: Good Riddance (there's 3 variations, the Eurydice solo, the Orpheus solo and the one that combines them and they should all be listened to) and the Lament of Orpheus. I would recommend the Hymn to Zagreus but well, it's a 'special' track that really deserves ingame context so I'd recommend playing the game for that one XDDD

  12. Oh shit, you've never heard of Hades??

    It's considered by many to be one of the best action rogue-lite games ever; it has pretty deep storytelling and fast paced very responsive combat, with a very large amount of replay-ability. You should absolutely think about playing it, on camera if possible!

  20. you never heard of hades? do you live under a rock? i really thought everyone would know this game by now. but maybe its just the bubble i live in that was instantly on its knees for the game, and not just to pray.
