frollo accidentally summoned the god of the underworld AKA Hades and at first he was not happy with it however Hades told him he won’t harm him and they became friends (btw frollo is the only one who can see him) at the festival frollo saw esmeralda and started to crush on her and hades became a little jelly so he killed her and sent her to the underworld and he told frollo that he did it out of love for him and frollo was surprised cuz he had a feelings for him as well so they became a couple
