As of this upload date, this is still the current WR for Gilgamesh according to speedrun.com! It’s possible someone has beaten it but the run has not been verified yet.

Wow? I'm that early or is everyone just busy watching his stream?
an achievement of epic proportions ✨
Is there a certain heat you have to use to get the WR for these aspects? 9 seems arbitrary?
GG, mate. Congrats.
Just been binging those videos, love em so much!
Question: Why does he always leave the room after selecting his weapon?
:O
Can someone link the speedrun.com page with the Gilgamesh times. I can't seem to find it with the filters. Also why is Aspect a filter three times? And I can't find Haelian's zag bow or zag fists times either? Have they just not been verified yet? And how long does that take?
Is 9 heat the standard for speed runs?
Sorry Haelian, but I got 8:33 on Gilgamesh waiting for verification (and it appears someone else got a 8:32…) 😅 vid on my channel if you'd like to see!
i feel like something that made it possible for me to beat the game the first time was getting hermes to boost move speed or dash so that you can dodge hades attacks much more easily.
Are you using default controller maping?
I believe if you open the codex while waiting for Thanatos he continues moving while the codex is open. I might be wrong tho.
One newbie tip I would definitely give is to figure out how damage calculations work. Namely, that almost all damage boosts are additive regardless whether it comes from your internal buffs or from statuses on enemies.
For example, Hades spear look much more realistic when you realize that its +100% damage is just +20/25/30 damage to your attacks/specials no matter what else you have on your enemies or with yourself. This also eventually makes you realize how good is +% damage to everything because It can affect things with base damage many times more than base damage of your attack/special. And this is why, for example, Eris is ridiculous. Which, in turn, is a gateway to mixed builds which do their best when you don't focus on a single move. Or to understanding when to switch your building focus. Not typical, but it's a way to salvage some runs. And all that sets in once number game isn't a black box to you anymore, so that's why I'm throwing it all here together.
I may sound like a broken record at this point, but it's really one biggest thing that has changed my outlook on what you can work with and what you shouldn't try if you expect to struggle.
Although this makes me think that it's less of a newbie tip and more of a level-up tip. When you're a newbie, making controlled inputs, suppressing panic responses and learning timings is the biggest thing out there. But pointing that out isn't honestly very helpful, so…
I guess knowing that inputting attack cancels dash invulnerability (I think that's how it works?) is also helpful, but it goes hand in hand with one of the points above.
Wonder how long you'll keep this one.
is there a list of WR times for every aspect somewhere? speedrun.com doesnt seem to have it
I came. I liked. Then started to watch YouTube. Liked this video and wrote this comment because I’m a comedic genius
jerry really need to calm it down, watch some videos, athena, athena, athena…more attempts and you will get it.
How is he able to start with 3 dashes instead of 2? Is it because of the weapon?
jerry needs to calm tf down
I wonder if they will give gilgamesh a daedalus upgrade that functions like Athena+Ares duo boon. That would be very overpowered.
what up Dan!
Would you recommend using Fated Persuasion overall vs. Fated Authority for high heat runs?
Very nice
Can you please please PLEASE make some kind of speed run basics guide? I've found a lot of fun in using no heat except the 5 min tight dealine, but I'd be interested in knowing some overall basic mirror set ups / weapons / boons / etc that you consider a must have for a speedrun in a single vid.
What's wrong with Trippy Shot? I've always loved having an AoE cast.
Also, I think that Rending Claws hammer at the start was the savior of that run. It made the Hades and Theseus fights go really fast with the 50% bonus damage
I just got into this game maybe a week or two ago and your videos have been super helpful with learning the game faster. I’ve played other roguelike’s but this is my favourite!
What should I pick for 32 heat? Am having trouble with it even with chaos shield.
How does he had so many dashes right from the start?
Okay, question. Why did Helian not use special even one time in Tartarus? The whole appeal of Gilg is his maim, right? Is it because it’s just faster to use attack?
Hey haelian, mind to share your Controller scheme, just ordered one for hades and got no idea what works best?
I always take Urge to Kill.
Its good right ?
I think it's worth it just to push your build.
