DID is not dual personality. It's called Dissociative Identity Disorder and is often brought on by intense trauma which form "alters". Sufferers aren't putting on an act and the alters are usually aware, but cannot be controlled by the sufferer.
Multiple Personality Disorder is a misnomer and has been removed from the DSM to be replaced with DID.
And yes, these sufferers can have much more than two alters.

Cath and Gabby has a very similar voice and accent too from time to time. They are easy to mix up. Because I only know their voices, from these videos, so when their tone sounds too similar, the difference from Gabby and Cath disappear. There is no base on which to differentiate them. I only know their voice, and I only hear their voice.
What if Gabby's been dead for ages and Cath has just been doing the voice for her.
